Social Justice Research Project

  • You are required to use at least eight sources (Four sources will be from scholarly articles and four sources will be from popular media). All sources must be cited using APA format.
  • 5-7 page, double-spaced paper (12 point font and 1 inch margins) in APA style.
  • Upload your paper to Canvas prior to class and submit a hard copy at the start of class.

For this research project, you will identify, locate, and evaluate information on a specific social issue impacting a population and present information on social initiatives designed to support these populations. When determining a topic that is of interest to you, consider the intersectionality of the social justice issues that we have discussed in class. Examples of possible topics include: girls’ education in India, child labor around the world, and the modern class system in China.
