Requirements: Six (6) unique sources: at least four (4) must be scholarly, peer-reviewed articles and up to two (2) may be non-scholarly, but reputable and credible sources relevant to your group’s project.
- Title Page: APA style
- Abstract: On second page, provide one paragraph of about 200 words (1) Defining the purpose of Anno Bib in exploring your team’s research question; (2) Providing context on your topic that explains why it is important and significant; (3) Explaining the scope of the articles (numbers and types) in this Anno Bib; (4) Identifying guiding theories and (5) highlighting key themes, results, and findings across the articles.
- The third page begins with the first source citation in APA References page format. The citations should be organized in alphabetical order by the authors’ last names and each citation should begin at the top of a new page.
- In 9-12 sentences address the prompts below:
- What was the article’s focus and how is it related to your project’s topic, theory, variables, and/or research question?
- What theory was cited and used to guide the study in this article – and how can you use it to guide your team’s project?
- What were the research questions and/or hypotheses posed in the article?
- What method (e.g., focus group, interviews, experiment, survey, content analysis) was used in this article and what questions did it ask that you could adapt for your team’s interviews and survey?
- What were the results of the data analysis: what were the answers to each of the research questions and/or how were each of the hypotheses supported (or not)
- Write a sentence using an APA in-text citation and information from this source that could be used to explain prior research on your team’s topic. Remember to provide page or paragraph numbers in the citation for quotes per APA style.
- Explain how you used AI (ChatGPT) to get the answers to these prompts.
- Explain what AI got “right/wrong” and the value you added to the annotation.
The annotations must use precise language and grammatically correct sentences that directly and completely address each prompt. Additionally, you should explain how each source is relevant to the issue(s), variable(s), and question(s) your group is investigating as well as what it adds to your knowledge about this issue. Specific guidelines are:
- At least four (4) scholarly, peer-reviewed sources and up to two (2) non-scholarly, but reputable, credible sources
- Adherence to APA format for all citations and references
- Sources in alphabetical order according to authors’ last names
- Thoughtful and complete annotations of 9-12 sentences (@350) words each
- Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling
