× Starting summer 2024, we will be focusing on improving our research guides for a better seamless user experience. During this time, you may notice website and structural updates to all existing pages. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

R-Search User Guide

This is a guide for using the library's Primo interface, sometimes known as R-Search or the library catalog. This system allows you to search nearly all of our resources in print and online.

Help Features in R-Search

If you notice a problem in R-Search such as a broken link, each detailed record has a report problem link that will send the item's information to Olin faculty and staff who can troubleshoot the problem and help you find alternative access methods if needed.

The blue and gold box on the right of the R-Search screen is a pop-out chat box that will let you talk directly with someone at the library during our regular hours.

Other ways to get assistance

You can live chat with a Librarian during our open hours. If you need a little more help outside of the Live Chat, Olin Library offers many resources that can help guide you in the right direction.

Circulation Help Desk

If you have a question about a checkout or renewal you can visit circulation on the second/main access floor of the Olin Library or call them at (407) 646-2521.

Research Assistance

For library research assistance, you can book a consultation with any Olin librarian or chat, call, or message them. They can assist you in using R-Search and the databases, journals, and other resources indexed by it.

The Tutoring and Writing Center

The Tutoring and Writing Center provides all students in the Rollins community with access to responsive peer educators and resources that support their development as effective, independent learners. Whether you need a little help structuring your paper or have questions on citations, you can schedule an appointment with their writing consultants.

Olin Librarians are available to help with any questions!
