Community and Reciprocal Borrowing

The Olin Library is open to R-Card-bearing students, faculty, and staff during regular open hours. Others have limited privileges for admission and borrowing.

Become a Community Borrower

A Community Borrowers Membership card will enable you to borrow books and DVDs directly from the collection, in addition to the library's general guest services. You can apply for a Community Borrowers Membership card in person at the Circulation and Information Desk.

Alumni

Alumni Association members can apply for

  • FREE for the first year.
  • After the first year, the membership will be $25 per year.
Membership will need to be renewed annually.

Community Borrowers

Members of the community can apply for

  • $25 for the first year.
  • After the first year, the membership will be $50 per year.
Membership will need to be renewed annually.

Community Borrowing Membership cards do not allow access to our online resources from off-campus, nor participate in reciprocal agreements. Our licenses with the vendors who provide these databases are restricted to current students and employees of the College.
