These sites are recommended for research in philosophy, and are selected for authority, accuracy, objectivity, coverage, and currency. They do not include the article databases available through Olin Library subscription.

- Philosophy NowA magazine that offers accessible articles on contemporary philosophical debates and issues, often written by professional philosophers.
- Daily NousA site that covers news, discussions, and resources related to the philosophy profession, including job postings and recent developments in the field.
- PhilPapersThis is a comprehensive index and bibliography of philosophy maintained by the community of philosophers.
Web Encyclopedias of Philosophy
- The Internet Encyclopedia of PhilosophyA peer-reviewed collection of detailed, scholarly information on key topics and philosophers in all areas of philosophy.
- Stanford Encyclopedia of PhilosophyA "scholarly dynamic reference work" which provides articles by experts on many topics in philosophy. Includes a search engine and a table of contents for easy access to articles.
Philosophical Works
- Perseus Digital LibraryA large collection of classical texts in the original language and in translation. Contains large collections of museum images and digitized reference works. Primarily focuses on the ancient Mediterranean, but some other areas and time periods included as well.
