PubMed contains biomedical and health related topics. PubMed is comprised of MEDLINE, PubMed Central, and the National Library of Medicine's Bookshelf. MEDLINE contains select journals that assign Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms to each article. Articles in MEDLINE may need to be requested through interlibary loan. PubMed Central contains the full-text of articles and includes research articles funded by the National Institutes of Health. Lastly, the Bookshelf contains the full-text of books, chapters and reports on biomedical, health, and life sciences topics.
