There are a number of sources you can use to see crime statistics as well as details of specific criminal incidents.

CDC WONDER
Cause of death stats, which can be scoped by county, city, census tract, etc. from 1999-present.
Corrections Offender Network
Search for incarcerated individuals in Florida.
Crime Data Explorer
Federal site that allows you to drill down data by state, county, and specific LE agency.
FBI UCR
Uniform Crime Reporting data from the FBI
FCIC Public Access System
The public version of the Florida Crime Information Center. This allows you to search for missing/wanted persons and stolen property.
FDLE CJAB
State crime statistics.
FDLE Crime Report
FDLE data presented on a state map.
FL DOC Corrections Offender Network
Look up information on currently and previously incarcerated individuals in Florida.
FL DOH Statistics
Statistics from the Florida Dept. of Health. They also have a map view.
Florida Criminal Justice County Profiles
County CJ information from the Florida Office of Economic Development and Research.
LEARCAT
Law Enforcement Agency Reported Crime Analysis Tool from the Bureau of Justice Statistics.
Sex Offender Statistics
Offender data presented on a state map.
ShotSpotter Data
Collected data from the gunshot detection systems installed in several US cities.

Traffic and Transportation Public Safety Data

Annual Uniform Traffic Citation Report
Data on how many tickets and citations are written, by which agencies, for which offenses, and the court outcomes. Also available in annual reports.
Crash Dashboard
Traffic safety data at state and county level in a dashboard format.
Signal4 Dashboard
Similar to the Florida DMV dashboard. Useful when trying to research patterns for things like hit-and-runs and DUIs.
